New China Buffet in Winston Salem

This was a good place however it's no more a Chinese buffet, now is just an arcade

My favorite place to relax & enjoy the open buffet. Oh, the hibachi is soo fresh & delicious & included with the buffet price. Atmosphere so relaxing, makes you feel like you're on vacation. :)

Disappointing...Used to go here regularly, but had not been in awhile. So went this past fall and was disappointed in the freshness of the selections, seemed to have been out a bit long for the time of day...5:30ish pm, when you would think that it ought to be prime time for new stuff to be out. Did notice they had the Hibachi Grill on that trip, so I returned this past week because I was in The area and have been on a High Protein Diet, I figured I would get something from the Hibachi Grill. The selection of items especially Meat was minimal at best..Out of Chicken, no beef or pork. The only thing available for a Protein was Shrimp and the vegetable selection was Minimal compared to most similar restaurants. Service was very good and the folks working there were friendly, so I will give them 2 Stars for that.

It's no longer a chinese buffet its a casino lol. Idk if the casino is awesome or not.

My go-to quick place to eat. Food is copacetic. Good selection. Needs work with some of the lighting, the lights at some of the booths shine right on you and feel like heat laps. That or make you feel as if you are on stage in a play acting out a dinner scene 😂

Food always room temp to cold. Ice cream bars extra. Taste mediocre. Very limited selection of foods. Tried 3 times cause its close. Im over it. Servers nice. But don't be fooled by fake reviews. Not 4 stars even with low expectations food was a 3 and again with low expectations.

This use to be one of my favorite spots for Chinese food but it has went downhill drastically within the past year. My family and I went for lunch today and as soon as we walked through the door I could tell the ac wasn't on and it was hot. The food we got was cold to the touch (not sure if hot bar was broken) and the beef and broccoli hadn't been cooked thoroughly. It was brown on the outside and pink and partially frozen on the inside. All I wanted was some Chinese food but I ended up with food poisoning. The only upside was the waitress was friendly and kept our drinks topped off.

Most food was tasty. Habichi with white sauce is great. Also would recommend the egg rolls and chicken wings.

I’ve been going here on and off for many years, and I agree with the reviews as it’s a hit or miss whether the buffet is stocked or not. I think this is due to the low volume of customers. It seems they make food according to the crowd.... this is clearly a family owned restaurant, and that’s exactly what makes it unique. Totally laid back atmosphere That is family and kid friendly. Staff was polite! Food is amazing!!!!

Now an ocean arcade. Horrible, horrible company with bad business sense. I asked how much it cost to play the arcade games politely and was told to get out and yelled at by the owner. The company is discriminatory and should be terminated for refusing service for no reason.

Had a good time here the buffet was better then others I been to might not be much of a selection but the quality of the food is better then most in Winston Salem n.c, I highly recommend the wings😉

I've never had a bad experience with this place, and keep coming back.

As far as Chinese buffets and really buffets in general this place is pretty good. Food is always well stocked. Staff are very friendly and quite a good selection including hibachi style.

Shrimp were over cooked, not able to peel. Mud bugs were over cooked, very mushy. Seafood and cheese had an after taste. Hibachi was decent though not very large selections. Servers were on the ball and very attentive. This was our second visit. Went Christmas week and thought it may have been poor as they were busy. 1st time shame on them , second and last shame on me. Don't think we shalk return.

Good food. Some labels were missing so there were some surprises. A few things were surprisingly spicy lol. Friendly staff

Excellent selection of food on their buffets. And its mostly really good. My only real complaint would be that it always seems kinda dirty in there. Like the tables and seats are kinda sticky...

The price was OK, but the buffet trays were almost empty and the food looked old. Literally, there were like one or two spoonfuls of each item and I had to scratch the bottom of the rice tray to get some on my plate. We were able to make plates with a little bit of everything. During the whole time we were there, they restocked two or three trays. Cheap but not worth it. I almost forgot. They charge you extra if you grab ice cream for dessert.

Not the best food. We went at dinner time which we expected to have fresh food cus you know, dinner time. The “crunchy” food were a stale soggy texture. The sushi was a let down, the green beans were too crunchy tastes like it wasn’t cooked all the way. you have to pay for ice cream separate and I mainly go to Chinese restaurants for their UNLIMITED ice cream 😩 we went to Wendy’s next door for our ice cream. And when we asked for the check, we didn’t get any fortune cookies but the waitress was giving someone else theirs with theirs check across from us 🤷🏻‍♀️ too many stars for this location honestly. I eat at a LOT of Chinese restaurants and this is by far one of my least favorites. I have a headache after eating here 😪

Not the worst but not the best. Staff was friendly and atmosphere was typical to Chinese buffets. Food was good but came at a odd hour between lunch and dinner so food was sitting out for a bit... Could have been fresher for $20.50 for two people but overall was satisfied.

Always good food always great seating and staff always has a smile on there face.

THIS RESTAURANT IS NOW CLOSED. WE WENT THIS EVENING AND INSTEAD OF THE CHINESE BUFFET IT IS OCEAN ARCADE (INTERNET SWEEPSTAKES ARCADE).
